What is an Affiliate programe
Affiliate programe provides you an excellent source to earn money while you are at home. Just put a link to Consoles & Gadgets on your website and earn commision on every sale we make from the customers referred from your site.

How it works
We provide a link/banner that you place on your website or any other place where HTML can be run like your signature/footer of your yahoo mail message. Your affiliate ID will be linked in the link/banner that we provide. Whenever any customer from you website clicks on this link it comes to our site and we identify by the linked affiliate ID that it is reffered from your site. Whatever purchase the customer make you earn a commision on the sales amount.

Where is the Affiliate Program Page?
The affiliate program is integrated into different locations on our web site with useful links. You will find your statistics in “Your Account” and new banners and links all over the page.

How do I join?
Joining is very easy. You actually just need to login to your normal customer account at Consoles & Gadgets and that's it. In other words: if you are a customer at Consoles & Gadgets, you are already Affiliate. You just need to place some links in the internet now to earn some money.

What is an Affiliate ID?
This is the unique identification number that we allot you. We identify customers referred by you through this unique ID as in is enclosed in the HTML on your part

I don’t have a web site, can I still join?
You don’t need a web site to join, Consoles & Gadgets welcomes any type of Affiliate. Wherever you place your links (forums, emails, ICQ etc), just make sure the link is correct and still contains your Affiliate ID.

Can I modify the HTML code without getting kicked out?
Sure, we don’t mind. Again, it’s just important you don’t loose your Affiliate ID, in order to get a Credit.

How do you keep track of your affiliates and the visitors?
Because of the Affiliate Program is integrated into our main web site, unlike with other online stores, we don’t have the common problems of tracking affiliate orders. If you send a visitor to our page, our web site engine makes a record of it and automatically assigns that visitor to your account. Additionally, a cookie is set on the visitors PC, to ensure if he comes back that the commission is still yours.

What happens if they visit 5 affiliates’ web pages and click a link to Consoles & Gadgets on each of them?
The first one counts. This seems to be the fairest option, considering a real life situation: A person who never heard of Consoles & Gadgets follows a link on your web site and you deserve the commission for any future orders. However, if he doesn’t buy directly, you will still get commission at a later point of time. It would be not fair to override the relationship between you and this customer just because he knows Consoles & Gadgets now and follows another link on other web sites.

I am in India, can I still join?
Yes, Consoles & Gadgets welcomes worldwide affiliates with no exception and limitations.

How do I know if I there are any orders on my account?
You can track orders placed under your affiliate account in the “Your Account” section on Consoles & Gadgets. It’s the same page where you update your address details, find your orders history and subscribe to our newsletter. It couldn’t be easier. Additionally, you have the option of receiving emails every time somebody places an affiliate order. Using this powerful tool, you will actually see what’s hot and you can make appropriate changes on your links (push hot products).

Can I insert a banner into my Outlook Express signature or my Yahoo mail signature?
Yes, It works all the places where HTML run.

To insert the HTML signature into Yahoo mail, goto Options menu in your mail account setting and put the Affiliate HTML code in your custom mail signature

To insert an HTML signature into Outlook Express 5 and 6 messages, use the following steps:

1. Save the HTML banner code in a file (consolesgadgets.htm)
2. On the Tools menu, click Options.
3. Click the Signatures tab.
4. Click New, and then click File.
5. Type the path and name of the HTML file you want to insert, or click Browse to locate the file.

You will need to set your Outlook Express to send your E-Mails in HTML format for this to work.

If I make an order following my own affiliate link, will I get credit for it?
No, this will not count towards your affiliate earnings. It is very easy for Consoles & Gadgets to see such transactions since your impressions will be very low or even zero but you are generating sales.

Will it be possible to see how many visitors are clicking links?
You’ll have access to full real time statistics showing how many people click on your links, how many orders have been placed, what has been ordered and lots more. Because the statistics show up in real time it is very easy to track your sales. The statistics are available through your account, so you won’t have to mess around with any 3rd party tools.

What does Impressions mean in the status menu?
Number of times someone has seen a banner on your site

Do you earn money when you have many impressions? Or is the only way to earn money is to have some1 order?
Only from orders...
