This light is the best you are going to get, short of the Afterburner (too much modding required) or upgrading to an SP (uncomfortable shape). The downside? It makes the GBA somewhat bulky, so its balance feels a bit wrong and it will not fit into GBA cases with the light attached.

I've tried a few GBA lights - this is the best! Lights the screen at least as good as the GBA-SP. Nice little fluorescent tube for screen-wide lighting!
