Description

The MacroMaster + removes Macrovision level 1 and CGMS. from all video sources (Satellite, VCR and DVD) and signal formats (Composite, S-Video or RGB). It enables copying to all recorders (VCR and DVD). Will pass Composite Video, S-Video (Via scart), RGB and stereo audio signals with no loss of quality.

I.C.O.S Filters are the most advanced copy protection eliminators in the world. The Macromaster +, the MiniMaster, the StripeMaster and the RGB Enhancer all incorporating the latest Micro controllers and high quality analogue components to produce unequaled picture quality.

The MacroMaster + removes all traces of Macrovision level 1 and CGMS copy protection in PAL or NTSC signals (for level 2 & 3 Macrovision (commonly know as Color Stripe) see below). The MacroMaster + has the most sought after feature!, it removes the CGMS (Copy Generation Management System), this is the Digital copy protection on the analogue video signal that prevents back-up of DVD's to DVD RECORDERS or any other digital recorder. Many Pay per View channels have started to broadcast using copy protection on movies and other shows, with the Macromaster + you can still record your favorite movie to your VCR or DVD recorder.

The MacroMaster + is very easy to install to any system, you just connect it between the playing and the recording source, it has 1 scart in and 1 scart out, and you can input composite, S-Video (with S-Video to scart cable) or RGB video signal. Almost all DVD recorders now have the ability to record RGB signals, making the MacroMaster + absolutely the best copy protection remover available today.

Note; For Color Stripe (level 2 or 3 Macrovision which only effect NTSC VHS recorders) use the Stripe Master.

Ok, I have found the problem with the flickering. After receiving rapid response from technical csupport - I tried putting my absolute best cables onto the box. This made no difference. I have found the problem however. I have a Samsung VHS machine and unknown to me there is a switch called picture quality or similar inside a front panel. By adjusting this I found that the recordings come out very well indeed. Praise to C&G for the quick support, though. Now I rate this box much higher. Admin : Glad you like it

I obtained this box because I wanted to copy my daughters VHS onto DVD so that I could eventually get rid of my buly VHS player. I plugged it into the vhs and dvd boxes via the scart and plugged in the mains. Firstly I would say that it does what it says it does - removes the protection - very simple. However, I have found that nearly every tape flickers during this process. The bottom of the picture often flashes black and white.I am going to get a newer VHS player from somewhere and try that, in case the fault is some misalignment of my old machine. I am hoping to get this sorted out because it makes the dvd almost unwatchable as the flickering is so frequent. I will post a further review IF I get this resolved so that you can decide if you should buy one. ADMIN : Partial interference is usally caused due to 1 of your scart leads not being True/Full RGB
