I agree with the writer before me the PS2 one handed controller is indeed a life saver I have had one since 2005 following my motorbike accident in which I lost the use of my left arm as well as other things. Being able to play my playstation took my mind off of my pain and the fact that I was now disabled. Then in 2007 my fiancee at the time purchased a PS3 for my birthday. I had over the previous two years developed a little movement and feeling in my hand though the arm and shoulder remained paralysed. Over time I found that using the PS3 controller gradually improved the feeling movement and strength in my thumb and fingers. Unfortunately I still suffered terrible persistent pain which drugs kept in line but then I was offered an operation to rid me of the pain and all the nasty side effects of the drugs. Following the op all the advances I had made vanished in fact my arm and hand were even worse than before. Worst of all I could no longer play my PS3 and I was given Modern Warfare 2 for christmas. I went back to my PS2 and the one handed controller but what I longed for was a PS3 one handed controller. Sony are never going to make one theres not enough money in it and they dont care enough about disabled gamers to make one so it is up to someone like Consoles and Gadgets to take up the challenge. Which they have and I have ordered one. I only hope it does better than the two PS2 - PS3 adapters Ive tried. Still at least I have my one handed PS2 controller a real life saver!

This controler is literally a lifesaver!!! 3 years ago I lost my right hand in an auto accident. I have always been a lover of video games and always looked forward to my gaming on the weekends with my friends. In fact I told my wife while I was still in the hospital my 3 goals were to play golf again to coach and to play playstation. My wife found this controller for me for Christmas and I cannot tell you how much this meant to me. I looked forward daily to playing games with my 5 year old son. Recently my controller was broken and I have been frantic to find another. Thank you so much for understanding enough to manufacture this product again and I look forward to playing again!!!!
