Replacement ribbon cable
If your flat cable broke during installation of a modchip or repair, this is the solution
Not supported by some older PS2 models (please open the console to make sure this one fits)
Description
This cable leads from the Eject/Reset button of your PS2 console to the Mainboard. It is very thin and therefore easily damages during installation of a modchip device or repair. Please note that the cable may not be compatible to certain PS2 models. Here is a picture of the inner part of your console illustrating the 5pin as well as 7pin ribbon cable:
