Description

Good product. Just plugged into usb port and opened up Project64. Worked like a dream. Didt even have to calibrate my n64 pads. Im running xp. The best alternative to the better Adaptoid which is super hard to find now as the company which made them went under. I was dissapointed that it doesnt support rumble pack nor memory card for the n64. I assumed when I orderd this was new but it came in a tatty old box big dent on the plastic unit and no instructions nor did it come with a disc as it said on the outer box. The product is good however so I left it at that. Admin : these are brand new, can only imaging the PO didnt treat the item with care. Sorry about that, They boxes look ok as hada quick look, I am still amazed we are getting these, there must just have been a few boxes foudn in the back of a warhouse, as we manage to get quite a few.

RIGHT GUYS! N64 FIX!!!! Ok, this worked for me but I can't guarantee it'll work for all of you: When callibrating in Windows and asked to configure the Z axis (rotation and the other one) twirl the stick in circles like you do when callibrating the stick itself. This is because through the converter the joystick is read as the stick AND as the Z axis. So configure them both and then when using whatever emulator or game you're using when you set up the stick directions they should pick up a mix match of JOY and Z+ types. Long story short, this callibration with this mix match = fluid control with no flicking. I'd really appreciate people posting here to let me know that they got it working ok. Steve

I'm also having the same problem with this converter. It works fine with my PSX pad but the n64 pad has the ongoing issue of deciding to randomly 'push' an analogue direction. If someone could point me toward a solution, be it a driver update or a problem with the pads themselves, I'd be greatly appreciative. Thanks in advance. Steve

How many n64 controllers can be plugged into one USB Converter? CANDG : you can plug 1 per unit but you can use up to 4 Usb convertors if you wish

Excellent product, works well with both N64 and PS1 game pads, i used it with with ePSXe and Project 64 and it worked well on both. Also works well for PC games. No divers needed if you are using XP and always rembember to calibrate it in control panel under game controllers otherwise you may have problems.
