I bought the Multi-Purpose VGA box as I'm currently at university and don't have a TV! This is a good little gadget and for the price (compared to the other solutions I've seen) it's well worth it.
As far as connections go, it has all your standard inputs, composite, phono sound, s-video plus the almighty component connectors too!
There is a nice array of output options also, the box can output using either the VGA output to your PC monitor, through standard video cables using another composite connection or through an s-video output also. There is a sound input (3.5 jack) and output for you PC sound/speakers to go through.
The box is quite light but does the job fine, the VGA pass through (for connecting your PC through so that you don't have to mess about changing leads every time) works supprisingly well, even in high resolutions like 1280x1024. This was my main concern before i bought it as I had heard bad things about connecting your PC through VGA boxes. When you switch the VGA box off, the VGA pass through works (aswel as the sound pass-through) and you can use your PC, this is quite good as you don't have to always leave the VGA box on.
All in all this is worth buying if like me, you dont have a telly and u only have a PC (and/or you need to save space!)
No major quibbles. Worthy purchase.
